Recently, I've been trying this whole "gluten-free" thing so naturally BUNS are all I can think about.

Not only a delicious food group {yes, you heard me I said food group.... hello cinnamon and hot cross!} but also the easiest look to pull off when you wake up and your hair is an absolute lion's mane {I know you know what I'm talking about}

This look is tried, tested, and true! An elegant, chic, pulled together look that takes just a couple of minutes in the morning {so it won't cut into precious coffee time}!

Dress to Impress

Ok! So it's that time of year again where everyone starts thinking about the new year. The buzz of potential new years resolutions are being talked about, and the stress of trying to figure out what to do and wear for New Year's Eve begins.

Everyone who knows me, knows I absolutely love Christmas! I'm one of those annoying people full of holiday cheer who wants to share it with everyone! Personally I'm not a huge fan of New Year's Eve celebrations, it's a little overrated.

But on the upside of things I love any excuse to get over the top dolled up because I can...
it's NEW YEAR'S EVE!! Really all I care about it having my friends around me, a glass of champagne in my hand, and fabulous outfit on (forget the fantasy parties and resolution stuff)!

So what to wear on New Year's...

The holiday's is all about sparkle, and being "playful" with patterns. Black is a classic colour for a New Year's dress, but why not dazzle it up with some holiday colour?!?

Knot it up

So, remember when (yes, lets get sappy nostalgic) you were young and you got your sister or your mom to braid your hair?

Remember when you dreamt (well, I did anyway) of becoming a ballerina, not only because of the tutus and pink, but also because of the beautiful, classic, ballet bun?

Lately I have been absolutely in love with braids. Perfect for any occasion - dress it up, beach wave it out, do it up, wear it down, loose, tight, go with the classic or the french, or take a walk on the wild side and try the fish bone or the fish tail or the waterfall, make it fancy with bows or flowers... (the list literally goes on)
