The view from here

Hello strangers.
Excuse my absence from the bloggie, late nights and early mornings are starting to catch up with me.

..... Not to mention that intersession classes end in less than a month soooooo I'm drowning under readings, papers, and midterms...
..... Not to mention that the weather has been stellar as of late {minus a day or two} so I've been spending my time enjoying the sunshine with friends...
.... Not to mention that I've been experiencing somewhat of an early quarter-life crisis so wheels have been turning and I'm amidst some personally significant changes in my life...
.... Not to mention I'm heading away to Vegas at the end of June so I need to get myself beach-bod ready...

Good thing I'm a pro at time management {lie} and balancing my personal, school, and career life {lie}.

Don't you worry about me, I'll get to it....

A little dramatic, but you know what I mean...

Happy days!

Can I get some Sparkle?

All this rain has been making life sooo boooring, I mean it's so nasty! It's dark, cloudy and gloomy! Eww... It's common knowledge that every girl in Vancouver should have the classic Talula- Trooper Jacket from Aritzia. It's the perfect jacket to battle the rainy weather, and best of all it goes with everything! Including sequins!
Casual meets sparkle!

"Eh! Wanna buy a watch?" haha

I <3 these shoes.

Social City Networking posted this Holstee Manifesto Lifecycle video yesterday on their Facebook page. It's so inspiring, so I thought I would share the love with you!

If you find the rain getting you down... wear a little sparkle, it'll brighten up your day!!

Here's to...

"A toast.

To nearest. To dearest.
To the crewTo cahoots.
To the ones who've been there. To the ones who'll be there.
To dropping everything. To saying anything.
To no judgements. To no doubts.
To loyalty. To trust.
To favors. To lifelongs.
To 'been too long'. To nothing's changed.
To having history. To having your back.
To moving away. To never too far.
To growing up. To settling down.
To your second family.
To friends.

To celebrating with those who matter most."

To dreaming bigger.

To more.

To less is more.

To hard work.

Whatever your resolution {or anti-resolution!} I hope everyone spends the last bit of 2011 with amazing people, smiling, laughing, and celebrating!
Wishing you light and love for 2012.

Happy New Year!

Warm fuzzies

Kat here!
Ok I'll admit it...
I've been a little a lot stressed out lately - as school and life in general start to speed up, naturally the laws of the universe dictate that my computer should crash, leaving me without everything.

Lesson learned - back up your files!!

Anyway, here is what is helping me deal with stress:

Showing my MacBook a little love I bought this
Marc by Marc Jacobs 13" Laptop Case {I was sold on the fuzzy furry interior!}

I've been drinking a whole lotta this
{side note: must have this nail colour}
{side side note: it is Christmas at Starbucks, if you don't know, now you know}

Finally found this little gem I've been seeing everywhere...
 {Hint: ZARA}

Living by these words of wisdom

P.S. Hey everyone....

To warm fuzzy feelings.

One Lump or Two?

My grandmother (I call her Nonna, it's Italian) gave me a tea set years ago (when I was about 10), and at the time I had no idea what I was going to do with it, and to boot I didn't even like tea.... Now that I'm older, love vintage tea cups, and drink tea, and I absolutely love the tea set my nonna gave me!

Anytime is a good time for a cup of tea. Have a fabulous long weekend!

Simple Sundays

Kat here! So I don't know about you but my Sundays always consist of lounging around at home trying to regain my energy sanity after a hectic week(end) whilst at the same time preparing for yet another crazy one.

My weekend themes: messy buns - no makeup - comfy clothes - sunnies - {several cups of} coffee - laughter & love & happiness

{365quotes}

{sunday musical inspiration} holocombe waller - hardliners
feel free to play this [on repeat] all day long

Cheers.
