Weekend Love

Happy LONG weekend everybody!


Classes are over and to welcome freedom Bianc, Anita and I are headed to the States for a little day {shopping} trip! I can't wait for radio sing-alongs, multiple coffee stops, getting completely lost {shhhhh!}, girl talk.. oh, and shopping of course!


It'll be the first of many road trips this spring/summer :)

Wednesday I'm Wearing.

Kat + Nelson the Seagull....The past couple of months have been outrageously busy. Between an internship, Vancouver Fashion Week, work, training, school and trying to have {somewhat} of a social life, I am looking so forward to this semester being over! 

I can't wait for lunch dates with the girls, laying on the beach at kits, and reading books that aren't textbooks! As school begins to come to an end I can't think of a better way to kick off the summer than sharing a picnic plater with Kat at Nelson the Seagull!

... Call me dork but I love looking at glassware. There's something about a beautiful glass vase, full of colourful flowers to make a room feel super girly and warm! I especially love Orrefore glassware! To make things even better Karl Lagerfeld recently did a collection of drinking glasses them. A combination of black, white,  and clear, tall, square fluted and tumbler glasses that are simple and elegant, and when all placed together look like a piece of art. Just looking at the collection makes you want to say "that's so Karl!" What could be more classy than sitting with your girlfriends having a glass of champagne in fluted Karl Lagerfeld glass on a saturday night? Mine are in the mail!

Here's to the Summer

The girls and I got together at Cactus Club in Yaletown for a little end of summer reminiscing this long weekend, to catch up and cheers to a good semester and to make sure we remember that even in the stress and craziness of studying and working we make the time to have some fun. The summer went by so fast, and just as fast as it went by, it will be back!

Sangria and Girl Talk

All week all I can think about is how I can't wait for friday, so I can catch up with the girls, curl up in the sunshine with a good book, and wander around downtown. But before I know it, it's late sunday afternoon I've accomplished very little, and the weekend is over :( The girls and I did however manage to catch up @ Cactus Club in Yaletown for a much needed glass of Sangria and girl talk! Now it's almost monday and I can't wait til next friday!
