Spring showers

Anita, Care and I braved the radical weather today and trekked all over Yaletown and West 4th {with coffee stops of course!} for an adventure that will be taking over our lives for the next two weeks...
STAY TUNED!

Anyway looks like we should expect one or two more months of spring showers, radical weather {snow, windstorms?! really?!} - so get out those spring trenches {and don't forget your brellies!}

Looking forward to May flowers.

Baby, it's cold outside

Well actually, it's freezing.

Kat here!
Its time for me all you people still hanging onto your gladiator sandals, rompers, and short shorts {guilty as charged} to pack them away.

My favourites for fall//

Scarves

 Beanies and toques
{to avoid this...}

Jackets of all kinds

Cozy sweaters

Extra warm fuzzies...

Thick socks for late study nights

Someone to keep you warm...

A delicious mug of coffee {or wine if you're feeling adventurous}

And a warm blessing...

To all that you heart might desire,
Happy Fall.

Flashback...Burberry "Art of the Trench"

Right after I posted Zip Up Time," I remembered the ad campaign Burberry did a few seasons ago in collaboration with Scott Schuman from The Sartorialist "Art of the Trench." It's a super creative ad that captures the simplicity of a great Burberry trench coat, how a classic trench can be worn so many different ways, and mean something different to each wearer. True Sartorialist style...

Enjoy!

Zip Up Time

As much as I love summer, my favourite time of year is the fall. It's as simple as two words... fashion week! The fall/winter clothes that come out make putting away the shorts and sandals for warmer clothing a little easier. For me, fall is the start of a new year, a fresh start! The mornings are crisp and cool, and with that comes jackets! I love jackets trenches, blazers, peacoats, bombers you name it I love it!

Enjoy the last of summer!
