Young and wild and free

The other day Anita and I ventured around South Granville {to take a break from our hectic schedules!} and we realized we don't hang out around this area enough at all!
Not to mention that it was such a beautiful day out - my favourite! Crisp, cold, clear... the absolute perfect fall day.

We did a little {window} shopping...

 Had some fun...

And let's not forget the girl talk ;)

Bye Bye Gray Days! (or at least for today)

The last few days have been so grey and dull, I haven't felt like doing much, and getting out of bed has been a huge struggle (I'm sure many can agree). Today when I woke up the sun was streaming through my window, and I had no problem jumping out of bed to start my day! I love this time of year, the air is crisp and fresh, and there are leaves everywhere!

Happy Friday!

From Jeremy with love

The weather outside is frightful!
....but the clothes are sooo delightful!

Jer here!

Living in the North Pole Vancouver during the Winter months aint easy {and we’re only midway through November!}

When the cold starts to creep in and the trees begin to shed their leaves, we know it’s time to bring our cashmere sweaters, scarves, and pea coats out of hibernation.

Here's what I'm wearing {and loving} this fall/winter to battle the relentless cold....

Sweaters and cardigans for layering

Loving shawl necklines + rusty reds and burgundy palettes

Jack[ets] of all trades

In my closet you'll find an everyday casual Mackage bomber and a dressy chic slim-fitting “moto” trench from Zara

                     Little extras...
Classic MUST HAVES in any fashionisto's closet!

White V's and skinny jeans
                                                Murray Mitchell

 [Ed. note: Don't you think Jer would look fantastic in a beanie?!
I'm trying to persuade him to rock it out!]

Circle scarves, wool scarves, cashmere scarves…scarves, scarves and more scarves!

BOOTS! {Hunters for the rain of course...}
And let's not forget the newest addition to my wardrobe and latest obsession….

My genuine leather Steve Madden combat boots!

Stay toasty,

Jer, xo

Earthy Monday

I was very much enjoying the sun, and cold weather this past weekend, it was perfect fall weather!
The leaves look so bright and vibrant in the sunshine... but sadly that never lasts in Vancouver and we're back to rain (huge thumbs down).
Rainy days always make me want to dress in earthy tones, browns, olive greens, blacks, and greys.

Earthy (tones) Monday...

Enjoy your Monday (and the rain) Vancouverites....

Hello November... I mean Movember

I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween festivities!... Where did September and October go? It feels like summer just ended, and now we're on November already? Once the reality of this month sets in, it will be December which I can completely handle because December means Christmas!!... but I'm getting waaay far ahead of myself. November is a great month don't get me wrong. Here's what I'm loving at the moment...

I am loving these last few days of no rain. The leaves are dry and crunchy making boot wearing that much better.

Movember has officially begun, get ready ladies for some nasty moustaches.. (small sacrifice for a fantastic cause)

Ladies if you're feeling left out...

You can always buy one of these.. or you could just donate to Movember

Loving this cold weather...

Because that means I get to wear my over-sized grandfather jacket.

With dark denim and red pumps

Jacket from Club Monaco//Sweater from Gap//Scarf from boutique in London//Jeans from Heritage//Pumps from Nine West

Hope everyone has a fabulous November! (don't forget to donate)

Anita, xo

You are my sunshine

Kat here!
Fall inspo: YELLOW

I know, I know... Fall in Vancouver = neutrals and darks.

So blame me for wanting to bring a little sunshine to our dreary, dark days.

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

At this time of year I can't get enough of pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie, pumpkin scones, pumpkin cookies...... you get the picture. This cool weather draws me towards dark spice, tangerine oranges, deep red colours lately. This cold weather is getting to me. But think what you may, Elie Saab would agree!

Beautifully elegant,

Baby, it's cold outside

Well actually, it's freezing.

Kat here!
Its time for me all you people still hanging onto your gladiator sandals, rompers, and short shorts {guilty as charged} to pack them away.

My favourites for fall//

Scarves

 Beanies and toques
{to avoid this...}

Jackets of all kinds

Cozy sweaters

Extra warm fuzzies...

Thick socks for late study nights

Someone to keep you warm...

A delicious mug of coffee {or wine if you're feeling adventurous}

And a warm blessing...

To all that you heart might desire,
Happy Fall.

Kat, xo
