V[ancouver] is for Fashion

I know Vancouver Men’s Fashion Week was a couple of weeks ago but a lot of things coupled with a little thing [you all know as] procrastination prevented me from sitting down and getting my second post [see my first one here!] together. My apologies!


Day 1
The girls and I attended the seminar [fashionably late as always] that vMFW had organized for aspiring, up and coming local designers and Little Fashionisto(s) [who I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting!] to get the latest fashion forward tips/trends for the upcoming season.  

Memorable notes: 
textiles are IN, the color spearmint is IN, playing with stripes under layers... IN!
and boat shoes are definitely IN!

Day 2 

Held at the Post Modern in Gastown, the first ever v.MFW show was a sight to behold with all walks of life coming together for a single purpose: fashion... duh.

The girls and I snagged some great front row seats where the models walked on and off of the runway leaving little to the imagination when it came to catching the models garments at all angles.

My favorite designers/collections of the evening were Steve Samson with his FULL line of classy, elegant, yet simple formal wear with neutral colors that complimented the striped and patterned undertones and...

Brittany Anne Fisher with her wearable designs won my favorite outfit of the evening:

The drape-neck shawl collar is absolutely stunning on this shirt! How do i get my hands on one?

Had so much fun! I can't wait till next year!

Vancouver Men's Fashion Weekend!

The ladies + Jeremy (our resident men's blogger) and I we're lucky enough to attend VMFW Sept 30, and Oct1st. I got so many great pictures as we were sitting in the first and second rows right in the action... but like I said in a my earlier post I've been slacking and finally got the pictures up..... For Vancouver's very first men's only fashion show, what a success!! The clothes we're beautiful! Here's just a taster of what was shown. Enjoy!
