Men's Monday

The 'Quay' to a great Summer...

With July officially over, we are (unfortunately) 1/2 way through the Summer which means we only have a month left to fit in all our favourite Summer activities and destinations before September hits.
One location that must NOT be overlooked is the Westminister Quay.

Markets with the freshest produce, wonderful boutiques loaded with great gift ideas, and of course endless cafes and restaurants; there's just so much to see and do!

Take a gander through Tiny Finery's gallery of trinkets and accessories, sip on 1 of over 150 teas from The Great Wall Tea Co. (I recommended anything with mango in it...of course), enjoy a delicious Crispy Chicken from Wally's Burger, and take in that beautiful view by the water.

Summer Daze

It finally feels like summer is here in Vancouver!

Yes, I'm back {don't you all go crazy now}

June was an incredibly busy and amazing and wonderful and eye opening and different month for me and I think I've finally snapped out of a daze and have got my summer organized.

It is incredible how quickly you can grow in such a short period of time; I'm beginning to realize more and more about myself and its scary and exciting at the same time. I'll let you in on a little key that has become so important to me:

attitude is everything.

This summer is the first one I have completely to myself {minus an online course that I've forgotten about already}.

In addition to a June where I was away more than home {hello Vegas!}, my summer calendar is already full of weekend getaways and plans with great friends!

The best part is today was the first day that it actually felt like beautiful, gorgeous, hot, heated summer in Vancouver {check the forecast for the rest of the month, you will not be disappointed!} Cannot wait to laugh and sing and dance and watch the sun go down and watch the stars come out {~~preferably~~ most likely with a cocktail in hand}

Shall we..?

Weekend Love

Spring Ahead

We get to "spring ahead" this weekend! Don't forget to put your clocks an hour ahead Saturday at midnight {sorry party animals, you lose an hour!}

Spring is upon us which means sunshine, and more importantly putting winter clothes into hibernation and rolling out spring/summer clothes! I for one could not be happier about losing an hour of sleep!

Anybody going to the Whitecaps game tomorrow? We'll see ya there!

How to Keep Cool?... (Sadly Not Needed)

Since it's July 27th I should be posting about how hot it is, and giving you advice on how to stay cool in this nasty hot weather by drinking lots of water, and wearing cute cropped shirts to keep your mid-drift cool..... but for those of you how live here in Vancouver, clearly a "how to keep cool" post is not needed! Even though the weather has been ~~gross~~ disgusting, I'm trying really hard to still wear my summer wardrobe (yes at times I've been freezing, but I don't care it's "summer") which does include cute cropped tops!
